Assembling the "Futtocks" into Frames

The individual pieces were then laid out in there respective layers - 3 for each Frame - on the scrieve board and lined up by means of blocks screwed to the board. Once the glue was applied the layers were clamped together by means of rectangular tube sections screwed through the layers onto the scrieve board. After the glue had set the frames were removed, cleaned up and sealed with epoxy before the spreaders were attached.
